I have been looking for ages for a large round sunburst type mirror, preferably in a gold or bronze colour with no luck. Well, I did see some on the Canadian Bombay site some time ago, but then they went on sale and I waited too long, waaaaa. Anyway, I have been searching in stores locally and online and nothing. Anyone have any ideas or sites I can visit? They used to be pretty popular in the fifties ans sixties I think. I want something with a wavy pattern if possible, but not set on it. I just dont want something that looks like wood, and it would be good if it was at least 36 inches in diameter or even a bit larger.

Hey retrofunk, can I ask how much you paid for your sunburst mirror? There is a store right by my work that has the same mirror (in both silver and antique gold). I loved it unti l saw the price tag of $250. It still might be worth it though, but if you paid less then I'd love to know where.

Thanks to everyone, I am going to check out ebay, etc. as soon as I find a few minutes to spare (the ususal culprits, work, DS keeping me busy) and I love the one mirror that was posted. I'll let you know how I make out.

I am looking for one as well, I have seen them at Direct Interiors in Brampton & Elte in Toronto and a couple smaller stores but price point is about $250 - 300. I'm waiting for when they're not so popular, maybe the price will go down??
I just tried a google image search for 'sunburst mirror' and there were several (especially from ebay). You'd have to see if the sites were able to ship to Canada, but you might get lucky.
