So i have watched The Fix for a couple of weeks now, and think it is the shake up that HGTV needed. Its so great to see a show that has broken the mould. Its soooooo different than anything else but still gives home owners a great reno, Neil and Jay have great energy and i could not stop laughing. Can not wait to next week. CHECK IT OUT.

MONDAY,
The reason why they do 2 renos on the fix is because Neil and Jay are listening to what the homeowners want and giving it to them literally to show the power of missinterpretation. It is 2 Carpenters/contractors playing with homeowners, Once Neil and Jay have convinced the homeowner that this is what they asked for they bring them in on the joke. Then it is fixed as it would be on a proper job.

I've laughed my way through the 2 episodes I've seen so far. I'd love to see the rest of them. I know they aren't 'green' but I think there is a lot to be said for LAUGHTER. That's in short supply in some of the overly earnest design and decorating shows. Let's face it - life as we know it isn't going to change if - heaven forbid - the wrong paint color was applied or a square light fixture was ordered instead of a round one..... I think most of us need a little more (or a lot more) laughter.
