School police clearance

I just remembered I forgot to get this done, so I can volunteer this year at my boys school. It's not like I had the whole summer to do it! Now I remember a week before I need it!
And I can't find the form the school gave me...

Does anyone know a link where I can get this form? And do I take it to the police station? Is there another option?

In our school board, we need to be rechecked annually. All forms must be from the school itself as it bears their logo/insignia whatever you want to call it, and I believe the principal's signature. Schools are opening up this week... call the school office and I'm sure they can direct you as to what your options are.

But...you only have to be checked once. No renewal. I would prefer if it had to be renewed annually.
And a pediaphile's record gets cleared after a certain amount of years of doing time, and so he/she could work with children after that. So the system doesn't work 100%.

And the check covers Canada only, not the country of origin where the person comes from...

Makes me very afraid for my kids.

I just seems a bit much that it has to be done but at least you know they are ok and have been checked out. How sad or for simpler times again.

Anyone working with children is supposed to be checked out by the police department.

I hear you Jeep, but that's the world we're living in nowadays. If I had children in school, I would appreciate this sort of thing because it's all done for their protection.

You need police clearance to help at the school. I never heard of such a thing man what is the world coming to. How sad is that, you can't even help out without being checked out first.
