and simply using refried beans will also work
I believe I have seen them in the stores they are refried beans with jalapeno's added to them just to give them some heat. I haven't made the dip yet as DH is away and he was the one that realy wanted it but I have put in my file to give it a try when he gets home.

SEVEN LAYER TACO DIP
2 avocados
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayo
2 tomatoes
1 pkg. taco seasoning
2 cans jalapeno beans
1 can pitted black olives
1 lg. bunch green onions
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sharp cheddar cheese
1 bag Tostito chips
1. Spread jalapeno bean dip in oblong dish.
2. Mash peeled avocados. Mix with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Spread on top of jalapeno beans.
3. Mix sour cream, mayo and taco seasoning. Spread or layer on top of avocado mixture.
4. Chop green onions, olives and tomatoes. Sprinkle in separate layers.
5. Shred cheese and put on top.
6. Use Tostitos for dipping.
Serves 8 to 10 people. Preparation Time: 1 hour.
