Shows I really like but forget to watch but really should put them on my recorder. Only when I'm channel surfing do I catch them.
Food TV - Great Eats with Alton Brown - entertaining and a great source of knowledge
I Want That - HGTV - I think this is new this year. I really am intrigued by some of their ideas
Cityline - Never know where or when this is on but I like it.
Shopping Bags - light and not as thorough as I'd like but is Canadian.
Sell this House - again Canadian so not as dramatic at other shows that bring in crafts people who whip a place together for $X - yeah sure, when someone with high priced skills does it for you for free.
Gardening - don't even know if this is on anymore but he had grey hair and big mustache & always made me laugh as he was imparting knowledge.
Pirate Radio - the Age of Persuasion on CBC radio - Sat 4 pm or Thurs 11:30. Gives a good and humourous insight to how advertising really works. I've been know to sit in my car and listen till the end.
As I look at these, the common thread is knowledge with humour.
Anybody else have any lesser known favourites we should watch or listen to?

weekend warriors, I like that one . . .

This is on HGTV and BBC, I think. He's a young attractive English guy (with a rather irritating giggle) who does amazing garden makeovers. \
I always forget about Divine Design as well. Candace Olsen has a column in the Globe & Mail and I was just thinking about her show this morning when I read the column.
I also really like Everyday Italian, with Giada on the Food Network. I made a pasta from her show 2 weeks ago and it was fabulous!
Well one I can't find but is well known is Devine design. The TV listings always show it at the same time every night but Shopping Bags is always on. I checked wnetwork and apparently it's been moved to the afternoon and of course I keep forgetting.
