Sleeping Pillows

DH has been getting a sore neck and I think it is time for new pillows he can't use anything with feathers and doesn't like anything to hard has anyone tried these filled with barley or other seeds. My friend has one that is water filled but they are over $100. I am fine with an old towel rolled up (not really) but I can use anything but DH no so. Any great ones out there.

Don't tell DH it is ok to sleep on his back I have been trying to get him away from that for years the snoring will kill me. He want to try one he saw on TV I think it has little beads in it. I hate to buy one but they do offer money back if not happy so I will look into it.

My friend had an operation on her neck. This pillow sounds like what she bought after the pharmacist in a naturopathic drug store recommended it. Immediately, it was the first good nights sleep she'd had in years. The pillow was pricey. Worth it if it works.

Not really a pillow suggestion Jeep....but I just wanna comment on the whole "Linens 'n Things" going out of business thing. I went in last week expecting a deal or two....and seriously....10-30% off??? WTF?? Hardly qualifies as a "going out of business sale". Gawd

Couldn't one make a type of pillow like that by using dried peas or some other natural bean product ?

I have that same pillow as well and only started using it recently because of the excruciating pain in my neck, shoulder and arm.

Physiotherapist told me that I'm now paying for all the times I slept with 2 pillows under my head. And she also said that sleeping on your side is not a good idea also. I have no alternative but to sleep on that curvy pillow and sleep on my back....it was very hard at first to do that but now I'm ok with it.

OMG I could have written this post. My neck is killing me today because of my pillows..

Linen n Things might have some good pillows and since they are going out of business they will be on sale. I am going to check it out tonight because I can hardly move today my neck hurts so much.

It depends what he likes in a pillow. Some people like firm pillows and others like soft ones. I like memory foam and paid a fortune for one at Sleep Country but it's shaped like a regular pillow at least.

I do not suffer neck problems but I did purchase a pillow at Costco which was a memory foam and I ditched my very old feather down pillow which I had so much love for & I am not regretting this new replacement memory foam Costco pillow !

boy that is a tough one since we all like different things in pillows. I love feather but since that's out, I'd suggest whatever you do, make sure you can take it back if it isn't right. Costco has the memory foam type pillows (as well as feather and some others) and their prices are good.

I took a picture of the pillow that I use from the Chiropractor, it's not the memory foam, it's plain foam one.

I go to the chiropractor twice a month, I bought a pillow from him, it's one of those curvy ones, it really helps the neck and the back while your sleeping, I just love it.
