Oh good to know...Thanks DBD :)
Perhaps thats the reason I cant find them on HD's website.
For those who are going to check them out, they emphasized on Cityline they wouldn't be available until June. So a few weeks yet I guess.
These might be the answer for wall protection behind my laundry tub. In a couple of years we're going to redo the room.
In the installation instructions it says that you are to use a non-abrasive grout. I wonder how easy this grout would be to remove.
I'm going to check these out.
Any other ideas for a backing behind the laundry tub?
Arizona..do you know if they carry a big selection?
Home Hardware also sells them for those who don't have a HD store nearby.
Thanks TT....Might be the way to go then..alittle more affordable. I will have to check out Home Depot and see what colours they offer. I'm after something specific :)
On Cityline they mentioned that they were about $15 a square foot. That's not a bad price when you consider that tiles can cost $20 to ?gazillions? per sq.ft. The cost of ceremic and porcelien tiles can be less - about $5 sq.ft. BUT... with tiling you also need to purchase the mortar/adhesive, grout and grout sealer. You need tools, too. So per sq.ft., the price might be pretty comparable.
Anyone know how much they are and/or how they are packaged. Is there a wide selection of colours/patterns?
They're supposed to be easy to remove with a hair dryer. So this could be a good option for people who are renting or live in an apartment or condo where they either aren't allowed to put tiles on the wall or don't want to invest a lot of money in a backsplash.
Apparently they work well as a backsplash and can even withstand the heat behind a stove.
I wonder how well they would work as a backsplash in my kitchen??
I think these are the most recent addition to the pliable plastic tiles that have been in HD for a while now. They did say there was no using them in places like showers but they would be an option for other applications.

I bought these months ago on sale at HD for $3.99 for a card of 4 tiles. 3 3/4" x 3 3/4 ". I have yet to install them. :)
They are much prettier in real life.
They actually have them in the stores and they were a bendable plastic . Now that I said that maybe it was in the US (HD) that I saw them, months ago.
They didn't have a great selection, not near as large as shown on CityLine and they were very simple (only 2 x 2 squares). I don't know how they would hold up but for a quick fix the ones I saw would be fine.
those tiles are cool and a project that i could actually do...i will have to catch cityline at 3.....thanks arizona

They didn't say what they were made of either. Plastic? Hope not.
