smoothie suggestions?

Looking to make smoothies. So far I've tried mixing with either of the following juices: grape, pineapple and orange juice... + banana and strawberries. So far pineapple was the best. Loads of sugar though.:(

I need another option maybe something with plain yogurt added.

also trying to keep it healthy. If you have a great one please do share!

Thanks

I never use juice in my smoothies - interesting. I guess if I use canned fruit I do throw the juice in. But my favorite is yogurt and berries blended together or pineapple and plain yogurt.

I make smoothies everyday and I saw a Naturepath last week and she suggested these additions. I put yougert, frozen berries, banana, juice of the day sometimes pomagrate sometimes cranberry, then lethcin and ground flax seed. I grind mine fresh in a coffee grinder I put a tbsp. of each in if the berries are a bit tart I will put honey in it as well. It is thick almost like a milkshake but very yummy. The lethcin and flax seed add no taste or texture just really good fiber.

I don't have a recipe, but I make a smoothie with pomagranate juice, yoghurt, and frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, currents). Sometimes I add a scoop of raspberry sherbet as well. The pom juice makes it tart, and the yoghurt makes it creamy.

It's just as good as my fave Very Berry smoothie from Booster Juice :)
