Has anyone come across the "peel & stick" adhesive film that looks like aluminum or stainless steel? Wanting to refinish a plain melamine cabinet to give the look of a stainless steel finish.
I've seen this product used on many of the DIY shows but can't seem to track it down. Any suggestions for a source in TO would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers! :)

There is also another place in GTA called Serious Stainless that you could call for info. Be careful that your outlets are grounded if you use a product like this . :)
I can't remember which company (Mactac or Contac) makes the metal peel & stick, but one does. they are carried in either Rona or Home Depot (I think one carries one brand, the other carries the other). The only problem I could see you having to work around is the width of the rolls which are only about 12".
It does pay to look around as when I was looking at them, one is definitely a better fake than the other.
You might also try artist supply stores and see if they have anything.
there was a site listed here a while back with a product for doing appliances but I can't find it and I can't remember if it was a paint or a peel & stick.
Metal Supermarket is a franchise and there is one in Oakville, so there may be one closer to you,. :)
