Special Garbage Pick Up

More clutter but I did pick up this lamp which works well. It also matches a vase that was a wedding gift to my mother and father who were married in 1946. But.................the lamp is 13" high and the harp? is 9.5 " high.... what style and size of lampshade should I be look for and is there something that I could do that would make it different. My DH thinks I should take it to my son's and he can put it out next week.

Thank you. I also noted that there is an article in H&H and the style should go with the lamp but I would like something different and the drum style with the lamp would be different than perhaps the original lampshade. It would probably update it.

you can always change the harp size if you need to make a new lampshade work. I agree a drum style would look lovely - but I am really partial to them.

I love it. Such a classic style. Actually I saw very similar ones at Winners. They had tall drum shades on them. Depends on the room that you are going to place this lamp. I think it is lovely and can certainly add a nice touch to a room with the right shade. These are the shades they had on the ones at Winners only they were taller than this one.
