Spiders are back

Because I've been busy these past few days wringing my hands about the goings on here, I've neglected my purging and pummeling of the spiders in my house and car. My sweet daughter has informed me that she saw a very big and really "weird looking" one in the car and (what made my heart stop) she didn't kill it. So now on top of everything else I have to climb into the driver's seat wearing a Zehrs bag on my head secured with a clothes pin, my pants tucked into my husbands work socks secured tightly with duct tape, and trying to drive in a straight line while brandishing a spatula on one hand and a can of raid on the other. My question, how long does a spider survive in an air tight car? and will I still be able to see clearly out of my window if I wrap my face with glad plastic wrap!!! no really!!!

I hate to one up you, but I must. The first time I visited my husband's village in Greece, I was leaning against the wall on the bed reading my daughter a story when I noticed my husband get up very quietly and come back with a little shovel. He said "back away slowly from the wall, and don't scream" well I didn't scream because I think I fainted. Apparently right behind me on the wall was a scorpion. He killed it with the shovel. I spent the next 2 nights sleeping standing up on the chair in the middle of the room. This is the same village where all the spiders hold their conventions.

not the "bug" that made me think pearls!

Nice to see you again ladybug... I think you eat aphids though, not spiders...

Actually, I think spiders are eaten by bigger spiders. Perhaps that is what we should send Elise?

LOL! You're just too funny! Thanks for making me laugh on this otherwise dreary morning!

Invite some flies and mosquitos into your car to distract the spiders. Stage a diversion!

By the way, did your daughter mention whether the spider was licking anything?

freeze them to death. I do, it works. Dh so cold he's got frost bites, but important thing is, spiders die.
Suggest full body armour like the Center of Disease Control use, to drive spider infected car. Must consider therapy for car as well later.
