Finally blooms but still cool at nights. I just wanted to share, though I am envious of those that have been enjoying the greenery for quite awhile. Am finally going to pick up my flowers for planting in my pots today. Zone 5.
I haven't lost anything but lavender over the winter.

I purchased my annuals along with a few more perennials this past week-end ....made up a couple of hanging baskets and patio pots.....I had to put them all in our "little backyard house" because of frost forecast.....it happens every yr.....we do get use to it...I woke up at 4 am and remembered I forgot the balcony hanging baskets but they were ok. as they are close to the house. :)
I'm still waiting to see if three of the bushes I planted last year are going to bud...we really just got some leaves on trees and all this week but the bushes still look dormant/dead. I guess I just get to sit here and be jealous of you folks that are always weeks and months ahead again. At least the Maydays and LIlacs are finally coming out here now.
Isn't it great to see the blossoms and flowers again? I just love Spring.
I'm a little behind this year, so I haven't got my pots and planters going yet. Unfortunately the weeds are doing as well as the flowers in my gardens-did you know buttercups grow up to 2+ feet high? My work is cut out for me!
