I get so excited as spring approaches (even if we did wake up to a bit of snow).....I crawl out of my rut and try to freshen things up, craving some fresh changes. So I shopped around the house and gave our floating shelf a simple spring look....What are you doing to spring up? Im also editing and decluttering.

Hi, peonygirl! I saw the muscari on Gwen's desk here in the office. I find it quite pretty! Looks like this. She bought it at a store on Queen St. W in Toronto. Some more info about it can be found here. :)
What is the greenery? GMcauley, muscari? What is that? Is it real? Very pretty. Where did you buy it.
Hello Janetc!
I also brought in few pots of muscari to spring-ify my apartment — a little greenery really does make a difference. I've also been trading my dark accessories for pops of turquoise and blue to bring in some colour.

Your floating shelf is an ideal spot to change out with the seasons or when the mood for something different strikes. I'd like to do that more in my home, but for now I have only one spot in my entrance that changes a lot through the year which is a changing display on top of a cabinet there.
I like how you include books in your displays. I've been collecting a few oldies from the thrift store solely for this purpose. I have found a few with chilling titles which are fun for halloween, some dreamy titles for the nightstand, some beachy ones, french titles, and so on.
