I stopped at a Veggie stand on Sunday and bought some Patty Pan Squash. I have been told that they are really good on the BBQ but don't know how to cook them anyone cooked them before and what did you do with them. Today i pick up Fresh Blueberries ( organic) for the freeze yum.

After washing and trimming them I toss them in a little olive oil together with herbs....what ever is on hand ...rosemary or thyme, garlic......and salt and pepper. Then put them on a greased grill pan on the BarBQ.... Also cook them with baby zucchini, and peppers. Delicious!!
I bake mine in the oven. Prick all over to let steam out first. I love them with butter & s/p. I also put a little water in the pan with them. They look like these ?
Are those the little wee squashes? Come in yellow or green? If it is, I used to throw them whole into a stew or boil them and eat with a dollop of butter, or cut open in half and grill with other veggies.
