OK

I use the Montreal Steak House moist rub in a bottle with the burgandy wine...delicious. Costco has large bottles.
comes in different flavours. We like the hickory smoke flavour for pork chops as well. I usually make my own but cannot beat this stuff for flavour or tenderness ( only needs 30 min on the meat) This is usually found in the "spice section" of grocery stores rather than the steak/meat marinades or sauces...around here anyway and people have not been able to find it.
Hi I have a great recipe for steak.
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic or red wine vinegar
shallots
garlic
rosemary
thyme
salt and pepper
rub on steak at least 2 hours before grilling.
Good luck!
I prefer rubs myself...but for a no fail option I use Montreal steak spice..a few hours before cooking , drizzle lightly with oil sprinkle generously with steak spice & some garlic powder. That's it!
Thanks for the help re the grilling rub....looks like there have been lots of people looking for it. We may never know!
I am grilling steaks tonight for my daughter's birthday. I'm new to bbqing lately. Any ideas on how best to grill steak -- marinade? rubs? I bought Top Sirloin Grilling Steak.
Thanks!
Leslie
LOL Too funny about the chef being a hunk! That is probably why I missed the ingredients!
I'm over in Victoria -- I'll wave!

I "think" also coriander and pepper as well.
not much help but didn't want your request to go un-noticed...check the thread Beef steaks, posted by Karen4, I bumped it up for you...
Hello!
I'm not much help as I only caught two ingredients - paprika and olive oil. Perhaps that's the spice you mentioned. The chef was a hunk though - perhaps we were too busy watching him to notice!
