I finally saw the "commercial" this weekend. It's a notice about a lawsuit, they aren't selling the product or promoting it. It did prompt someone who knows the attic got done here not to long ago to call and ask if ours was done with Zeolite though.
I thought the article said it was banned in the 90's so I didn't get the impression you could still buy it (at least not the stuff from that area where problem came from).
After reading one of those links I'm surprised they can still sell that stuff.
here is some info on Zonolite

Gads i don't even want to look in my attic.
I know all about cellulose insulation as that's what was blown up in the attic. Is that what this Zonolite is for?
ok,
i agree with smoodgie.....what is wrong with that insulation? anybody know?
haven't i seen that insulation on mike holmes? they blow it in with a big pipe? maybe not but it looks similar!
Maybe I watch too much HGTV ;)
I PVR'd Ambrose last night -- I'll check him out tonight.
I've never even seen it.
It wasn't on last night when I watched Ambrose, speaking of which did you see his purple drapes Smoodgie? They were gorgeous.
