You can get color tints for concrete at Lee Valley Tools. They also have a mail order catalogue.
Your advice is most helpful, I'll post picks when I do the project. Probably in the next couple of weeks.
Here is the stepping stone project that I want to make someday. In the box where it shows the materials required for the project it says "mortar or concrete colourant". Maybe Home Depot would carry this stuff? Or a cement company??

last year we wanted to tint concrete and we used grout (for ceramic) in the concrete. I don't know I much my husband put in. You can experiment first until you get the right color. There is alot of different colors you can choose from.
I know there must be another way, but that what we did. Good luck!
