Tiny Dining Room Delema

My dining room is 9.5 by 13 you have to walk through the dining room to get to the living room so I really only have 9.5 x 10 to work with.  I have a 9 pc dining set that I would like to keep but its to much in the room.

How Can I use the hutch and buffet differently in the house?  Can I separate the two pcs?  I am creating a sewing room upstairs and my bedroom only has a black bed in there with no dressers.  The bedroom is black and cream.

I'm thinking my only option is to sell the set.

I just noticed your last sentence of selling the set.  I must agree though.  There are a few special pieces that you may never want to part with, but if that is not the case, then why not start anew with an updated piece that compliments your space. :)

I really wanted to separate my china cabinet to make it more modern.  I think the hutch can be mounted to a wall over a sewing machine and table for great storage for a sewing room.  I think a buffet with a mirror on top will really open things up.  Just my thoughts ;)
