Hi I am moving to Toronto soon and want to know if anyone knows some great flower shops in downtown Toronto. Ones with a variety of more unusual flowers. Thanks Dede

There is a nice shop on Eglinton near Mount Pleasant called Flowers of the World. Tulla there is great :) There are many nice flower shops in the city, and I'm sure that there will be one just around the corner from your new place. There are many independent shops here that are unique in their products. I have also gone to Bill's Garden centre, but have been disappointed in the plants that I have received. They didn't live too long (maybe my fault, but I'm not so sure). It's a very nice store though.

I love Emblems
The girls that work here are amazingly creative. I had them do my flowers for my wedding and i can not explain the great great job that they did.
Very professional

Welcome to Toronto!

My favourite florist in Toronto is Luc's. It's located near the Flat Iron Building on Wellington Street. I have received a couple of "pots" from him as gifts and they have been OUTSTANDING - both in creativity and health and beauty of plant.

I love to visit his store, which is a treat in itself.

If you are looking for a place to get cut flowers and flower arrangements check out Quince Flowers Phone: (416)594-1414 ,16 Eastern Avenue, Toronto, ON M5A 1H4. They are wonderful!
If you are looking for cut flowers to arrange yourself, there is a place at the corner of Avenue and Davenport where you can get wonderful fresh cut flowers for a great price.
If you are looking for house plants check out Sheridan nursery at http://www.sheridannurseries.com.

I hope this helps :)
