Your best bet for getting rid of unwanted fallen apples would be to use a rake or a specialty rake, such as this one from Lee Valley (http://www.leevalley.com/en/garden/page.aspx?p=57716&cat=2,44821&ap=1) to pick up the apples. Your local garden centre or nursery might also have some good ideas for removing the apples.
