So we planted the grasses last weekend. I rejigged the layout a bit. Here's what it looks like. If the grow too big or too fat, I'll just divide, more and re-arrange in future years. There's no way like trying out stuff.. how else am I gonna learn?! Here are the pics..

the front garden looks great...i love grasses too. so easy to maintain and ignore them and they do even better! just my kind of gardening:rolleyes:.
It looks great - you did a good job. You must be very proud every time you look out the window or whenever you pull up in front of your house.
what you have done; will the grasses come back year after year? will they get taller if they do? do they need sun / lots of water? I have not got much experience with grasses, but love the way they look - the one on the right of your picture looks particularly "fluffy" (that is meant to be a compliment) and unusual
I love the way grasses move in the breeze they look so pretty and so many different colors. Garden looks very nice.
looks great karen...your neighbours must be soooo jealous...get ready for everyone else doing the same thing now...good job
