HELLO, I HAVE TWO HUGE CAST IRON URNS FLANKING MY FRONT DOOR AND I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE IT UP FOR ALL SEASONS,PROBLEM IS IT IS HOLLOW WITH A BIG OPEN BOTTOM.I HAVE FIDDLED WITH POTS ETC BUT IT NEVER SEEMS TO SIT RIGHT AND I CANT FILL WITH SOIL AS IT JUST LEAKS ALL OVER THE VERANDA.I,M SURE THERE IS A SIMPLE SOLUTION BUT I HAVE NOT FIGURED IT OUT.HELP

Could you make a wooden stand that will fit inside the urn? That's what I am having my father-in-law do for some tall clay planters that flank my doorway. I don't want to completely fill them with earth because one of them is in afternoon sun, and the other is in shade. (gotta rotate them when I water them) Up until now I filled the bottoms of the planters with large rocks, and set smaller plastic pots that fit the opening perfectly inside. Still, they don't sit level, so the stands idea works for me.
