Vase Style Floor Lamp

I have spent the last couple hours looking for just the right floor lamp. I've seen several I like, but after I found one that had a vase style base, I knew that's what I should narrow my search to. I'm usually pretty good at googling for stuff, but I can't find more than a couple different vase style floor lamps - there's tons of tabletop lamps in this style, but apparently not many in the 5 or 6' tall range.

The picture is what got me going. It's 60" tall (shade is 34" of that) and uses a 150 watt bulb and a single on/off switch below the shade. I really like the tall shade, but would also like a bit taller vase too - more vase, less neck. I'd also prefer a dimmer, or even a 3-level switch, but that can be accomplished with an accessory, if necessary.

I came here because House and Home is one of my favorite magazines. I hoped one of you other faithful readers might be able to direct me to a website that sells what I'm looking for. I don't expect any brick & mortar store recommendations because I live in the sticks of northern California, far from any store that might have a limited selection of these kinds of lamps.

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

Jim

If you can't find anything I would suggest you might want to try and make one for yourself. Not that difficult and this way you can choose a vase that works for you. The hardest part might be trying to find the right shade for it, but maybe not. It they are out there, that's a search that might be easier.

Just a thought.Cool
