Off the top of my head so ingredients are not measured
Sautee onions in some olive oil, add chopped canned or fresh mushrooms and sautee a little longer. Add some dried thyme. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a seperate bowl, crush some cooked lentils, about one cup, with a fork, and add 1/2 cup instant oatmeal, uncooked, 3T parmesan grated, Mix all, including mushroom mixture and add some salt and pepper to taste. Make patties and heat four minutes on each side in a hot frying pan or until crisp

Portabella mushroom, swiss cheese, melted on fresh warm focaccia (sp?)bread. Can add a few slices sweet onion, peppers, tomato, or black olives....so good! :D
The best veggie burger out there is at Harvey's! (yummy) or You can purchase "Lick's" nature burgers at your grocery store. I recently bought some kid nature burgers. They are microwaveable as well. Macy
Portabella mushroom burger, wow
I never would of thought of it.
Thanks for the tip woodburn.
I think the best veggie burger anywhere is a Portabella Mushroom. Just grill the mushroom and build burger as you would any other burger. We sell it in or restaurant and it is a huge hit and so easy.
