I only caught the show a few times, but I loved Carol. (I liked how she said "pounds")
cant believe carol has 3 kids or that she is gone for good...I also enjoyed reading the letters about the "dog woman" ...I thought maybe I was being too harsh...apparently not! oh and nice to know his name is spelled LAURENCE...who knew?

I am glad that u told me they have new episodes...am upset I may have missed them...I need to forget all the crappy decorating shows and stick with the "tried and true" ones
Not sure what happened to Carol, I like her too but Lawrence is doing a very good job hosting the show.
oh no!!!! I havent seen that show changing rooms for ages...what happened to Carol? I REALLY liked her too...hostess with the mostest and so NOT hyper ! Is it still on HGTV? I figured it was all reruns
I like "House Dr", it's a good show it shows you how a little organization and fresh paint can give a house a brand new look. Sometimes I am surprised the house owners still want to move. That woman rubs me the wrong way, she seems to have that "superior American" attitude. Lawrence on the other hand is great, very talented and creative. I hope he will still play the role of a designer, I notice recently he has just been hosting the show.
have u ever watched "House Doctor"?...truly amazing what some ppl consider decorating...especially when they are desperate to sell their homes...and isnt Lawrence a doll and soooo talented?
Good for Vern!
He has talent, good taste and we can all learn something from his creativity, this unfortunately does not apply to the others. I use to be addicted but have become ...yaaawn... bored with the show. However, I still enjoy watching "Changing Rooms", the Brit. equivalent and original show. The designers are very creative and constantly come up with new tricks. Unlike their American counterparts they seem to consider the homeowners' needs/wants...most of the time. I also enjoy seeing the interiors of those neat old English houses, not to mention the wonderful English accent.
when they are on...its time to mute the sound...as for Vern...TS was waaaaaaay beneath him...Frank is funny but the rest of them DESERVE Trading Spaces...LP's and artificial flowers on the walls?? Gimme a break!!!
On Extreme Home Makeover HE SCREAMS...A LOT!!! I like that they are helping people and some of what they do is nice - if over the top - but too much time on destruction, and too much Ty. Period.
for Vern Yip. Yippy skippy, happy, that he finally got away from those walking billboards of bad taste. Good luck to him.
I also hate Hildi and stopped watching the show. The designs were getting so over the top. Do they really expect people to live in that ca ca? I only watched if Vern was on.
I was also not impressed with Ty. He may be somewhat ok looking but comes across as a real bimbo. Yawn. I'm not 20 any more.
I hate Hildi...I'd just kill myself if she even thought of doing a room in my house...what is she thinking putting straw on walls!?!

Wow i thought i was the only one who thought many of the designer on TS were crazy. I stopped watching TS last year cause I couldn't handle the way most of the designers did the room or how some designers treated the people.
I like Vern and Laurie, but the rest of them? Kia is nice, but inept. Frank hasn't attempted a new trick orscheme in 20 years. Doug and that nutty brunette are just plain mean...I like to see what Vern and Laurie can accomplish with a just a few bucks but the rest of it is a little like gawking at a car accident.
He deserves his own show - he's great! And I am less & less of a TS fan all the time. Now I'll really give up on it. Can't wait to see his show!
