I have an open concept home with cream/off-white walls (see floor plan) and teak wood in the furniture and kitchen cupboards. I am attracted to soft green muted colours (olive, sage, etc.) but basically I would like any neutral shade with a light reflective value that would complement the teak wood colour that is rather prominent in my home.
I have found that some of the green paint samples look kind of "minty" once I get them home. What kind of undertone should I be looking at? Would grey hues work better with teak? Should I be looking at a warm or cool tone? Any other colour suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. The one photo shows part of the drapes from the dining room, which I will be replacing in a neutral off-white colour, so the current colour should not be a consideration.
