I've been looking forever for unique wall sconces for my living room. Finally saw some in the last issue (Dec/Jan) from L'Atelier and they were $2400 for the pair!!!! They were beautiful star shaped ones - totally unique. Does anyone know of any places I could look for unique wall sconces?

Partylite also carries them, if you just want sconces and not light sconces. They have some nice ones. Not sure if it's what you're looking for but might want to take a look at their catalog.

We had a metal worker make all our wall sconces, as well as all our chandelliers and cabinet hardware. We sent him pictures of what we wanted and he made them out for us.

The new 2004 Annual Catalog from Sears has some truly unique wall sconces. We plan to order one of the elephant head hand-carved wood ones for only $24.95 You can get a Sears catalog from most of their stores. If you have the Sear's Wish Book for last year there is a great wrought iron sconce for only 9.99!

Hi Julie,
I don't know of any stores in TO specifically, but here we have a few businesses that do iron work & will design or make from your design rather inexpensively. Also, if you check the web site for Stratford there are a few artisits with gorgeous items for sale... I came across them at an art in the park exhibit, maybe they have somethign listed if they will be in your area. Good Luck I know I haven't offered much but sometimes one small idea snow balls into something bigger.
