Here is my 8yr.old shih-tzu Gizmo.....He is wonderful company ...follows me around the house & is also a mini vaccum in the kitchen cleaning crumbs:)
i have two fat cats named lola and feebee...they are my babies...
i know alot of people have dogs but if there are any cat lovers go to youtube and type in "an engineers guide to cats"
anyone that loves cats or has cats will understand when they see the clip
Here is our little man....Fritz. He is almost a year and half old. Sweetest, and energetic little guy. He is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.:bliss:
Adorable animals everyone!
Those timberwolves....beautiful, but....they are hybrids, right?
That 'morkie' is SO cute....but what the heck is a morkie? A mix between a yorkshire terrier and........a maltese maybe? I've never heard that term before!!
This is the first time i am going through a forum dedicated for pets.. nice thing keep it up guys.
Our Morkie, called Pepper is now 12 weeks old; he is so adorable and even helps around the kitchen - especially cleaning up crumbs. He's very tiny and will weigh no more than 4 to 6 lbs. as an adult...we vowed....never again....no more pets and even though we're retired, we're enjoying him more than the others in the past as we have more time to spend with him.
See if this works

I love looking at the photos of everyones pets. I will attempt to send a photo of our baby Puggy . She is a white pekingese that we got from a rescue group. They do such good work and I encourage anyone who is looking to go to Petfinder online and get their pet from a group near you. The sreening process is rigorous but we passed with flying colors . It like adopting a child. They are so strict. Home visits and interviews. But it is good to see they put the animal first. My sister says Puggy is dentally challenged.
Ok posting a photo is not working, Can someone tell me how to do that?
Gorgeous pics from everyone!!
Note to those with the outdoor kitties, especially the one recovering from an attack.....have you thought about a cat cage? My hubby built one out of scrap lumber and chicken wire. Cats love it and I don't have to have a heart attack every day, wondering if they're coming home, killing local wildlife, etc....There is a company who makes them now, I think it's called the Cat's Den or something. (cheaper to do it yourself) My cats are sooo much happier with safe access to outdoors, grass, sounds & smells.
All 4 pets are rescues and I can't say enough about a rescue animal! They are eternally grateful!!
i tried to adopt a couple of dogs from NO but never got any response back
this is a great idea for all the pet lovers! Just finished browsing all the wonderful pictures! They are all sooo precious!Sounds like alot of you have adopted pets from other situations Me too! In fact in was my youngest anniversay of being my baby this paast weekend.
Speaking of pets needing homes... My favorite vets have just returned home from their second visit toNew Orleans to help with the abandon pets from hurricane Katerina. This time they brought home two with them and there are six more enroute. What great people don't ya think?
Here is our most recent pics of Shiraz! (Some of you have already seen them in the other forum - before I realized this one existed!)
He is 6 1/2 months old, 80lbs and passed his obediance class last night!!! Yeah Shiraz!!
We also have a kitty named Tasha. No pic of her right now.
Gotta love them no shedding my friend has one that we used to puppysit and his name was "Tank" he would come in the house and own it in a minute. Our dogs would just look at him like he was a stuffed toy.
Here's my baby Bichon Snoopy at 10 weeks. He's the sweetest little thing, loves to play and cuddle and sings when he yawns...lol
Cat...yup real timberwolves...from Alaska...he got them as puppies...he lives in PEI and has tones of land for them to run..
It's great to see everyone's furrbabies! Here are my two - Pippin and Merry. They are excellent at napping, which also happens to be one of their main occupations, so I guess you could say they are truly suited to their existence.
wow jenjen, nice dogs...wolves... Same thing really!
Here's another Ebony pick by the lake.
this is the dogs of a friend of mine...they are Timberwolves...one weighs in at 265lbs and the other is over 400 lbs
our cat Millar.
The couch potato was called Snoopy by previous owner (they had small kids who named him)
I changed it to sound similar so he is now Opie. The ShihTzu was named Jazz by previous owner...... I kept that name.
I am really a large dog lover first.....I had a black labs years ago but now in a smaller place and taking them in the car on trips the little furbabies work best.
I do have the fun of all the neighbours large dogs though. Mia, a golden lab. (6 months across the street ) and I are great friends. :)
Introducing Mr. Smithers; our 'Garage Sale' cat who is recovering from surgery after an attack by a racoon. Devastating for the whole family but he's coming along great.
sweetie
this is our nutbar Vizsla...he is one now but still has the same endless energy as the day he came home.:D
crazy handsome isn't he!?
I think everyones puppies are adorable!!!!!
I know how could I get mad at Kohl? We took home a beagle the other day just to dog sit over night... Made me relize how puppy Kohl still is. He totally has tons of personality! He is just crazy somedays.. Since we got our fence up and back yard sodded it has been soooo much easier. With that other dog around I also noticed how well behaved and how well trained Kohl is.. We start obedience class in 8 days and I am excitied to show his skills off!
lazy's name is Pete...he's a Jack Russell Terrier....about 7 years old now...got him from the dog pound in Toronto...he was 3 at the time...the previous owners had to get rid of him cuz the wife had allergies...so i scooped him up as soon as i saw him
Too cute!
Foxxy and Jenjen, what are your furbabies names? :p
oreo...how could you get mad at that face...he's so handsome....how's he been doing btw?

The couch potato is a mix of Bichon and ShizTzu I adopted at 3 yrs. old. The other fur baby is all ShihTzu I adopted at 1 year old.
Both came from homes with other dogs so they enjoy the company of one another. The bonus with adopting them older is they are house trained. They are both now crate trained also, which works well when I travel with them.
:) :)
I love seeing everyones dogs.
oh Cat she is adorable...lol...the boys must love her...well he's my lazy bum...this is one of his ''quiet'' moments
Glad to see a pet forum on here. I'll start by posting a pic of my 9 week Min. Schnauzer, Ebony. She is a very good and clever little girl. Though some days I think I should change her name to Rascal! ;)
