Everything is snowballing. My Mom and I are going plant shoppig today. I am really excited. I have always shopped for plants with a budget of less than $100 for planters etc. Today, I have more money to spend and so many plants to buy.
foxxy for your advice and good luck with your seeding!:D-
I will be reseeding bare batches with grass seed.....and top soil. Rain will be good as long as it stops long enough to get out there and get it done.
I do not see a problem moving it now....get a lot of the root ball and earth with it and make sure the new hole is large so the roots can spread out and the new soil soft. Water it well, even add water to the hole before you plant it and keep the watering up for a couple of weeks. Good luck :)
laying flagstone for our front walk...if the rains hold off. does anyone know whether it is safe yet to transplant a cedar tree from one location to another? it is a healthy tree but in a bad location by the front step and we would like to move it around side if possible. anyone?
I am still on a tree planting craze, after my neighbours chopped down all the trees on their side. We have planted 4 so far. Tomorrow, in honour of Earth Day, the horticultural society is selling trees for $5 each with free compost and mulch. I will be getting up very early tomorrow morning!!! I'm so excited!
Having patio stones and pea gravel delivered. Weather is not suppose to be good so we have held on limestone, so we will carry all the other stuff to the backyard and look at measuirng things out.
Getting ready for top soil so shaping and contouring. Putting in forms for the walkways. Hope it stays sunny and no rain
The plan is to continue weeding all the flower gardens and put down some more bark mulch. Then I am going to get the veggie garden ready. Oh and I have some plants that need new homes. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
the pond should be dug today...we've changed the depth to 4 feet on one side and the other side 5 feet...so if it gets dug today...i'm hoping to get the liner this weekend and start that...i figure i that for the size it's gonna be i need 21feet x 21feet liner...apparently if i buy 25 x 30 foot liner it's the most econmical....i'm still checking out some websites on the how-to's of pond building...ya gotta love technology...lol
