I apoligize if the answer is easy to find, or already asked, and I missed it.
I love the picture of that cake pictured at the top of these forums!

I've searched all over the site, but can't find the recipe! It's awful to tempt people like this! Could someone tell me where to find the recipe?
Thank you!

hi everyone.
this recipe seems very yumyum.
Though I have one so easy to make that looks like this, i teached my girl to make.
U make it with the Oreo chocolate biscuits, whip cream )35% cream + powder sugar, bit of vanilla extract...then the tip is to put this cream each side of the biscuit, and make 2 rows (side by side,
then, put the rest of the cream all over, as on a cake.... keep in the frigo for about 4 hours or more, it does not matter, then, and when it is ready to serve, i put coconut all over, or whatever u like, just to decorate more.
the trick is in the way u cut it: not straight but à la 45 degrés...(sorry for my english) hope u will understand, It gives u a 2 colors piece of cake, that ressemble very much like ur beautiful cake, but easy for the kids to make it with u.
Anyway, I did my best to explain....good luck.

Your cake looks delish !
Though, I think it would probably be difficulity to serve/cut.
Thank you so much! I'll definitely be trying this as soon as I get a chance!
Hello jmparsons,
That cake recipe wasn't originally posted on our website, but I've added it now. It's Rosie Daykin's Cookies & Cream Cake Recipe from the Entertaining section of our May 2009 issue. Sorry for the confusion. Enjoy!

Well I made this cake on Sunday. I gotta tell you, it was very tasty. I was concerned while I was making it that it was going to be difficult to cut as the cookie wafers were hard/crunchy but after sitting in the fridge for a few hours, the cookies absorbed some of the moisture from the whip cream and became soft. I would definetly make it again. You could probably use any flavour of wafer cookie though such as ginger cookies or vanilla. One word of warning though, as you can see from my pictures, it became the 'leaning tower of cake' so next time I would make it a bit more of pyramid shape. I tried to stack everything straight up and down but because the whip cream was higher in the middle and inconsistant around the edge, it started to lean to the low side.
Thanks!
I thought it looked like a variation on the classic icebox cake. If I didn't get info form anyone else, I was preparing to figure out how to make giant chocolate wafers for the layers. For some reason, using several of the regular store-boughts to create a layer hadn't occurred to me.
I love the way the whipped cream through the wafers looks like snow fallen on a log. Perfect for winter time (though the no-bake process certainly makes it a good candidate for summer as well!)
Mmm. Now I know what to make for my next (non)baking project!
