I have a small den that I need advice on what colour and pattern to use for curtains. My sofa is grey and the walls are painted Sico 6210-41 Resonant Triangle. My floors are a light hardwood. I wanted to add a colour to the drapes but not sure which direction to go. I will be putting in a area rug once I pick out my drapes. Any advice?

Have you considered getting your rug first? I often find rugs can be such a great source of inspiration for colour and design.
I also remember Michael Penney once said "Often the design of a beautiful space actually begins with the rug and wall colour, then fabrics and furniture follow."
