Are H&H still tracking me when I'm not logged in? I was logged in earlier and then logged out. When I returned I didn't log in. The quote above was listed above some newer posts. How do they know what I've read?

Jan there are a lot of forums that offer that feature. Personally I have wished it was around before as it makes it faster if you want to just start where you left off. So you can hit 'new posts' and then as well as getting those you can see the ones you didn't have time for the first time you might have been on that day. Before we always had to find those ones ourselves.
Whenever you visit a typical website, your computer stores various information which helps it remember various things about the website visited. In many browsers you can turn off that functionality, but by no means is information related to this stored by H&H (and for that matter any other website), nor are you being "tracked", any information related to this feature is on your computer and your computer only.
I thought that was strange as well. I think they are not very "clear". I have had a few chuckles over the changes made lately.
