Any suggestions to make this living room look nicer.
I don't like the curtains (kind of honey/orange colour) I was thinking of blinds and mabye drape on both side but stating from the ceiling. What do you think?
We are going to paint the chiminey mantle and the baseboard in white.
In the same room the walls are Adams Gold (Benjamin Moore HC18)

I would chose drapes on both side, but I'm not sure about having them attached to the ceiling, it depends on the room's height. Regarding the walls, I think that you should go for something more colorful, maybe red or orange, at least on one of the walls. This way it will be more easy to showcase your favorite piece, perhaps even the Victorian sofa!
