Hello!
I am looking for flooring suggestions. I have a small livingroom with a large window so lighting is good. I have a large entertainment unit that is across one wall. It is deep cherry stained oak. However the sides are black and the inside shelving is black. Also, there are three tables of different sizes, (end small type and a large cover table) with the same cheery stained tops and black sides. I have ordered a black leather sectional (lower clean lined modern style) and two zebra printed accent fun chairs. My walls now are a gold tone (I think it is called sesame seed). I would like wood flooring, however, I had looked at a black jelly bean stain and worried it would be hard to keep clean and then maybe be too dark. What flooring would you suggest? Thanks!!

Take a look at this - I think it would suite your room very well.

I am looking into the previous flooring instead of the slate looking darker color. What do you think? Also, can you find a room filled with it so I can see the look? Thanks!
I am purchasing new furniture for my living room soon, can the sofa fabric color be the same color as the walls or should the sofa fabric be a contrasting color to the walls??? Thanks.

What about into a grey/dark grey floor. That should be pretty safe and goes with your colour scheme.
