I need new flooring in my kitchen and dining room. I really don't know what is popular or "in style" I like more of a modern look. I have painted cupboards - a gray green. I have lots of black - handles, chairs, frames on pictures etc. I think I want something darker for I have white countertops and white appliances. I will try to post a picture but also just wondered what is the trend right now in Linoleum. Thanks!

I don't know what you have in other areas but we had in our utility room a great looking plank vinyl flooring a without touching it, it did have the look of wood. Some vinyls are very expensive and you maybe able to get tile for the same price.
I saw a really NICE vinyl flooring that looked just like slate tiles. I bought a crappy looking one instead because it would have been such a shame to hide the nice one under my laundry appliances.
