What weed is this?

I need some help identifying this weed which is taking over my lawn. Here are 2 pictures. The close-up is a bit blurry. Can anyone advise?

I take out that kind of plant everyday of the summer in my flower!

frenchie, it's pretty easy to pull out -- it doesn't have long roots like dandelions.

That's it! That's it! Thanks so much......but now I'll have to start pulling it out and I have quite a lot. I guess I shouldn't have waited so long. I've been busy struggling with creeping charlie in another section of the lawn. That weed should be renaimed "stubborn charlie"!

I think its common name is black medick or hop clover. I found the page below with a picture:

I don't know what it's called, but I see it lots of places (including the edge of my lawn). It sort of snakes its way through the grass -- if you see it, pull it and keep pulling it till you get all the little tendrils and roots out.
