Most all the perennials are in bloom and I picked a small bouquet this morning. I love flowers in the house :)

Oh a herd of goats would be really appreciated here too. I have to weed whack my back lawn it's so long my mower isn't going to do it I'm afraid. It's pretty much a wild life habitat I think and my little dog who thinks she's a princess and hates wet hasn't been able to get back to her hole in the fence spot to peek out in a week because she can't quite clear the grass anymore. That lawn is really going to be a dozen bagger by the time I get to it....hopefully today as it's supposed to be warm and sunny.... allll day even.
LOL "DBD". You give me hope. After the rain last night all my petunias have lost their blooms and are drenched, hope the sun brings them back. Meanwhile, I can feed a herd of goats on my lawn if I don't soon get the lawn mower on it (too wet). Never happy - either too hot, too cold, too wet, too much snow.
Oh snore....sheesh, my lilies haven't even got buds yet. We've had rain almost every day for weeks it seems although forecast says it's supposed to stop this weekend. I'm so jealous of people with a longer growing season and still thinking about a road trip to BC to see if there is someplace I should be moving before next spring. It would be so nice to have a garden full of flowers for a few months (although I will say my clematis finally has 3 or 4 flowers and the yarrow is showing a few flowers too.. progress considering everything was just new last year).
Love your lilies. Most of my flowers, unfortunately are in full to partial shade so my lilies are not as full as they would be in more sunlight. I also have ferns which grow quite well and tend to take over, They look lush and full from a distance but my flowers need to be defined instead of growing together. I try and tell myself it looks like an English garden, when in fact it is just overgrown. All this rain and lack of sunlight (as you said, Sweetpea) does not help.
Isn't it nice to pick our own flowers?Pearl your bouquet is so lovely & colourful...Lass your hydrangeas are gorgeous ,they will make a beautiful dried arrangement....I find my hanging baskets ,especially the lobelia are not as nice as other years due to all of the rain & lack of sunshine......my lilies are nice though :)
Lass are those white hydragena (sp)??
Yes, lots of blooms.
:) Beautiful!!

Sorry, the first posted picture looks out of wack, with a tall tree growing out of the flowers. Here is the space without the flowers. LOL
Beautiful. After a few days of sunshine,we now have rain again but I picked these and am now in the process of drying them. But now that I have seen your flowers, I am hoping the rain stops and something is left out there.
