My hubby gets off a plane in an hour, and will be home, just in time for dinner....but I have no idea what to make for dinner
I have also been resistent to doing any grocery shopping for the past week, due to misbehaving little children, mine!
So what am I going to make? He will not settle for a pizza :D

Those roasted chickens are sooooooooo goooood :p They come in handy when one is in a rush.
Good for you buy it eat it or cool it. It sounded so yummy everytime I sell one these things the customer gets the lecture on handling and most look so surprised they were planning on it in their picnic basket for later today.
Believe me, this chicken did not have time to even take a look around the kitchen! It was whipped into the shopping cart, into the car, and before it could say 'cluck' it was deboned, and in the oven, again! lol :D
I agree abouth the fat content, not much fat, compared to a roast chicken if I had done it.
We sell them in the Deli and they go so fast it is a good buy and they do taste great. We sell them for $7.99 and the uncooked chicken would cost about $6.00 so it is worht it to get it already done and the fat is off it not sitting it while it cooks. Just remember buy them last and out the door and straight home with them. You should remove the lid and put in the fridge if you aren't eating them right away. Keep them over 160 or below 40 never keep them in the mid range for any length of time.
Ahh, you're too kind, lol.
It was delicious! The flavour from the rotisserie chicken was much better than if I had cooked the chicken myself.
He had three helpings, he was starving from flying, and the airline doesn't give food at all, only 1 beverage allowed.
Thanks again for all the instant replies!
Maybe I can help someone tonight for their dinner?
So.....did he like it???

I grabbed a rotisserie chicken and some broccoli at the store, the quickest shopping my boys have seen ;) . Deboned the chicken, added the broccoli and made a rich sauce to go on top, topped the dish with crumbs and cheese. Served with garlic bread and salad.
Shoo, and still have 30 mins to go, lol! :D
oh, oh, oh, I forgot to mention, grabbed a cherry cheesecake for dessert!
chicken salad wraps on spinach tortiallas...and some good homemade deep fried fries.... :D
How does he feel about soup? Any cans in your cupboard?
Or better yet, declare you have just heard it's national _________ Day and you have to get some chinese food, hamburgers, steak, or whatever you can think you desire.
Tell me what you have in your fridge and I can plan your meal for tonight with what you've got....hurry
