????
i didn't mean any offense - maybe my interpretation was wrong, but i didn't mean any harm...
i know things can be read wrong but sorry not in this case...i dont believe that she was referring to me when you say things are heating up here on the forum and if it was meant for me it would have been directed to me....

than what was your intent, it makes no sense to me that you would say things are heating up here on the forum when all we were talking about was a/c's and nothing out of the ordinary was said newbie
janetc
that newbie was cracking a joke about janet's comment:
hubby come home i was sprawled in my chair with 2 fans blowing on me and still hot...lol
nothing to be paranoid about, just praising janet for her prowess in the mbr!
i may be wrong...don't mean to speak for newbs (just in case her mind wasn't really in the gutter! hehe)
it was a joke right? LOL :D
I have asked that my post be removed as it was obviously taken in a negative way. That was not my intent at all.
i never at all considered your post to be otherwise as i know you wouldnt do that.....some just cant stop the cycle...

I wondered about Newbie's post too. As far as I can tell, all we've been talking about is air conditioning. To set the record straight, my post was simply about air conditioning and I was joking about toughing it out. I'm going to start getting paranoid about my posts sooner or later, LOL.
reneesmom, i hope you do to...this weather is just to hot...even if its a window one it sure helps

what exactly does that mean? i have not read anything that would mean that things are heating up around here...in regards to this post or any other i have read today, am i missing something?

that I can convince my DH to get A/C sometime soon!
I think we need an airconditioner right here on the forum. Things are heating up fast! I am staying far, far away from that one.
what you are speaking of is exactly what hubby wants, he so dislikes these window ones...and we also have electric heat...are they expensive and where did you go to buy the unit, im thinking a heating and air conditiong place

Happy you have them in janet. I cannot sleep in a steamy room and it is humid here today and more to come next few days. I have one that is installed high up on the wall. The actual unit/fan etc are outside, so it is very quiet. Since cold air falls the unit high up works well..I love it. It cools about 850 sq. feet. I cannot have a heat pump as I have elctric heat, so no ducts for central A/C. :) I aslo use it as non A/C to change the air in the place. :)
buttercup i will give you some of this heat and humidity lol
reneesmom....i toughed it as long as i could, i dont like those things in my window, but last night was my breaking point lol, hubby come home i was sprawled in my chair with 2 fans blowing on me and still hot...lol

I thought you were one of the few who were going to try to tough it out without A/C, LOL! Well, I'm glad you're comfortable now. No sense suffering unnecessarily, LOL.
We, on the other hand, still don't have A/C but we're giving it a bit longer.
has been cold rainy and yucky, I wish we had some hot days. I even had my furnace on this week.
