I thought you were all for freedom of speech? So if he had said the coach is great and everything is honky dory, you will have liked that?

The coach shouldn't have been getting into betting anyway, which he has since admitted.

after what he said about their coach getting fired...i just found him to be completely disrespectful

Ouch.....that is cold about Crosby, why did you say that? The guy has game, and I have seen it play numerous times when they came down to play the local team in teh past before he went big time to the NHL.

When our kids were young, 3 families used to flood the baseball diamond behind us with the city's co-operation and our kids used to have so much fun there, but it was a combined effort. Unfortunately, we don't see that happening anymore.

haven't flooded it yet...but it has been melting a bit then refreezing

We used to flood the backyard every year until the boys got to big to use it then the village had one jsut down the street. Having outdoor ice is the best they would skate until well past dark. Did you flood it or it is from melting and then freezing.

Wow, that's awesome ;) Not sure how I'd fare on the slope, I'm not so great on the skates yet - but that'd be great to have a rink in your own backyard (btw, H&H did a back-yard rink workshop (link here :))

actually we're on a major highway and set back 450 feet from the road and up on a hill.......we get tons of snow and more with the wind...the wind blew all the snow off and this is what was left...out back we have a huge hill great for sledding....and we back onto a forest...i love it here...and we have a 20 acre farmers field next to us that we can use whenever we want

Jen, from the surroundings you look like you live up high on a mountain or something, you probably get a lot of snow and obviously more fun.....ENJOY :D

LOL...the best part is that just past the parking lot at the bottom of the driveway there is a bit of a slope...that's even more fun...LOL
