So I decided that it would be a great weekend to start painting my kitchen. I figured I'd get the taping and priming (to help cover up the dark red) done this weekend, and do the actual painting next weekend. When I originally painted the kitchen red, it had taken on an "orange peel" texture. Maybe the paint, maybe the roller, I don't know, but it looked terrible. My brain wave was to sand the walls down before priming...made total sense at the time...4 hours later and I've got a house full of bright pink dust....it's everywhere!
I luckily realized fairly quickly that I'd have to cover my couch and chair, but every other surface is pink. Swiffer won't touch it (just makes more of a mess). The vacume works to a point, but I think it's going to be a looooong night ahead of washing every single surface down. Any tips from the "super cleaners" on the board?
