the first picture is a view from the kitchen sink.
the rest of the pictures are views from various points inside and off the deck.
Note: the window valances and chair cushions are on my very long list of 'to do's' but after being here for awhile the material and pattern has kind of grown on me. So although it was at the top of the priority list b4 we moved in it has slipped to near the bottom.

Yes, you don't need privacy with a backyard like that.
How often do you use the blinds? If not, remove them and the valences as soon as possible. Beautiful landscape!
Beautiful house ,beautiful yard!.The window does not need anything on it with that beautiful view...ENJOY!!
Remove those nasty valances, ick. They are so outdated and it's troubling that you have grown attached to them NancyJ :D
I also removed my window coverings, I was blessed with burgundy vinyl roller shades and hunter green valances. The shades matched the wall colour though.
the valances are hiding a minty/sagey green blind. So I am not so sure removing the valances would be much of an improvement. and I know that I defintely won't be getting new blinds in that room for awhile - I MUST replace the rose colored blinds in the master bedroom first - those are very very ick.
I also have garden envy. Very nice.

LOVE the windows and the garden . . . . the valance seems to match the cushions on the wicker shairs. I think I've whined about my back yard in another thread, so I won't go into it here, except to say it is a disaster!
Very nice view! Must be so great to have a finished garden like that. And love the windows too. You could remove the valances, as they serve no purpose.
I pulled down all my window coverings on moving day, they were so dusty and ugly. lol
That looks lovely. Quite the garden and looks like a really nice size too. You must be very happy to be settling in and I too would not worry too quickly about the valance etc Give yourself time to determine what you want to do. Usually quick decisions on those types of things do not work out in the end.
Wow, must be nice to find a place with such a nice yard just ready to be enjoyed. Very nice.
