Hi folks,
We are thinking of killing two birds with one stone. The house being up for sale looks really bare in the finished basement now that I've decluttered so much. DH had an idea yesterday of maybe if we got a wicker like outdoor conversational set for the basement we could use it at the new house on the balcony. So we're now looking at Costco and Home Depot, any recomendations of where to look?

Oh well, I see where you are coming from then and whole heartedly agree. A wicker set will probably sell the house much faster and for a better price so it probably won't cost you anything in the end (and maybe even net you some more money). Go for it! Quickly.
Gerri... take advantage of "DH's" great idea :D
Let's put in this way dustbunnydiva, I've saying for over a year that the balcony off our bedroom at the lake would look stunning with a converational gruoping and he's ignored me- if he thinks it's idea I'll take it. And the rec room in the basement is very bare and it should look like potential room rather than this empty long space - it needs a purpose.

I actually prefer seeing the entire home free of furniture. I always have such a hard time getting past curtains, furniture and general "stuff" that it is refreshing to see an empty house. I know realtors do not suggest that but I love it when I am house-hunting.
Now would definitely be the time to go looking for wicker but are you really sure you need it to sell? In cases like the basement I'm not certain it makes a difference if it is empty or has furniture in other words. So you may want to wait and get a set you totally love vs maybe settling on something just for the house sale.
Hey Gerri,
Definitely check out Canadian Tire - I was there the other day and they're starting to pull out their spring stuff.
