I am looking for window treatment style suggestions for my master bedroom which is in a basement apt of a house. The problem I have is that my window is 42 inches long (vertically) x 73 inches wide (horizontally) and I have a ledge at the bottom of the window that is about 1 foot wide. Therefore I can not have a window treatment that is from ceiling to floor. I could only have curtains, etc. that are half the typical length. Does anyone have any style suggestions of what would look best? I really do like tab curtains but would this not be suitable for this type of window? Thanks!
