Wolfgang Puck Appliances

Has anyone tried Wolfgang's products? I bought the Immersion Blender but haven't tried it out yet. I don't want to unpack it if anyone has had any negative experiences. It is 550 W so seems much higher than usual. Doesn't seem like it is a big seller as there was lots of dust on the packagee. Price was $89, I think.

Thanks Sweetpea. That is interesting to hear about the other products of his. I was impressed by how substantial all of his small appliances felt when I picked them up. The thing that bothered me was the dust - wondered why they haven't been selling. I did some further research on the immersion blender and found very good reviews in the US. Granted I don't get to large stores very often but I hadn't seen Puck's products in other stores. I bought this at Home Outfitters. Using my HBC card I got -10% and 90 days for return. I figure if it has no omph or it falls apart I should be able to return it. In the meantime I'm going to check out TSC.

Jeep......It's all about the BIG BUCK....they really don't care what quality the product is that there name is on....in fact I think they don't even know that much about the product they are endorsing.......I get so upset when I see these so called celebrities endorsing products...but the thing is it is the companies approaching them ,so they figure why not more $$$$$$ for me ,like they don't have enough......the latest one that erked me was Marie Osmond endosring Nutri system.....she lost all her weight on Dancing With The Stars...I feel the same way about sports celebrities with their names on equipment....the price automatically goes up when their name is on it ...I hate this stuff ,it is brainwashing and greed...There now I feel better :D

Hi Jan.....I have the Wolfgang rice cooker....it is cheaply made but I only paid $25.00 for it(The Shopping Channel)showstopper...I also purchased the pepper mill but send it back as it was broken.....My advice would be to return this blender & get the Kitchen Aid immersion blender....it is available on The Shopping Channel for $99.00 well worth the extra $10.00...I have one and love it....it comes with different attachments ....Check out the TSC . :)
