OK

Those stories have become urban legends really, people that say they know people that know people that have one :D We doubled our money last year when we popped into the sheraton casino Niagara falls.
We went in with the same amount, and I always say to her-indoors to try different machines, instead of staying at one. It worked there, just like it did in Montreal.
Oh...I bought a 1 pound scratch card in london when the lottery started, and won 50 pounds.
I wish. I know people who know people.....but that's as close as it gets for me!
-the mother of a good friend of mine won about $100,000 or more with a lottery ticket about 15 years ago
-the mother of a co-worker won big on a lottery ticket too-don't know how big but again at least $100,000
-worked with a guy who won big through saying "yes" to the Extra on Lotto 649 or BC 49 (all four of the numbers were drawn-whatever that pot is)
-my cousin won big on the Super 7 a few years ago. He was in a pool at work, but it was a large pot that was split among them and I'm guessing each got $80,000. What's sad though is he died suddenly this year. He was my age. (I'll be 44)
-a customer at the bank I used to work at won $10,000 on a Pot of Gold scratch ticket
-another bank customer was in a pool at work and the group won a large amount
ok yea...see i don't have that problem...LOL
Thanks all for sharing your stories, some of them gave me a laugh others
made me drool. Oh well, I thought I was just too cheap to win, but thanks
Jenjen now I know I just have to be consistent, believe me I know my limit
and always stick to it. I'm way too cheap to be addicted to gambling, mainly because I don't like to lose money.
and they all just bought a ticket on whatever once a week. Two of them won relatively small amounts (a few hundred thou), and two of them won big (millions) -- one was the ex-bf I told you about, who called my coffee table shabby, and one was my cousin's son-in-law (he was one of the ones out west who won that huge lottery last year). They were a group of co-workers and they always bought tickets together.
I think the key is to keep buying one a week and eventually it pays off. Or not, because we do that and we never win anything.
I never win big but that's because I don't spend much either but I have 2 different friends that have won huge. One couple, our neighbours and son's former boss won 10 million in the 649 that was exciting to say the least and another friend and her husband won a house in Nevada at a casino it was on a Golf Course and they live on a golf course back home. DH buys all the time an even puts his tickets under his lucky paperweight which doesn't happen to be very lucky but he still puts them there just in case.
yep...won $3300 at the slots...dh has won lots of times at the slots...he goes more than i do...but the secret to winning at he slots is.........there is none...all depends on what and how they program the machine...sometimes you get lucky sometimes you get a dud...the key is to leave all cards at home...trust me PLEASE LEAVE YOUR BANK CARD AT HOME!!!!...and don't think that if you win big this time the next time you will too...chances are you will NOT...just have fun and know your limit and stick to it
the most i have ever won was 100 dollars on a pull ticket or i guess some call them a nevada ticket....and that was neons ago :o
