Does anyone know where I can buy some large or oversized wooden letters to hang on my wall? I would be happy to find unfinished ones or prepainted, but cannot seem to locate them anywhere. I found some small ones at Michael's, but I'm looking for something larger.
I live in west-end Toronto, so any place in or around the city (or online) would be preferred.
Any help you could offer would be much appreciated!

Try Michael's Arts and Craft center - they also have 50% off coupon in their flyer this week on any one regular priced item - they have the large letters that are unfinshed!

Hi, I saw some large letters, not to long ago, at the "Bombay Kids Store"
of the decorating & design forum, on the bottom "Suzie G Bathroom Reno.
and I'm really pleased with them. They are wooden and very well made. They are 8". There's a picture somewhere on the decorating forum. I'll find it and let you know. It's spells RELAX.
Saw some 8" letters in the current Sears catalogue they were black only but I don't recall if they were made from wood.

I have also seen letters on other sites, such as Target. Lastly, my very small SMALL home based kids' room business is starting to offer things LIKE this, but we aren't doing letters yet. Lastly, I know you can actually find small letters at some of the 'better' dollar stores in Vancouver, so I'm sure you could check your local stores for those too.

can order them online at JC Penny in U.S. click on outlet site and then search "lettes". They have a few different fonts of letters and i thought they were reasonably priced and could be painted.
I have ordered from JC Penny myself and no problem shipping to Canada.
I have seen them in metal at White Rose. They were about 10".
urban barn (calgary, edmonton, vancouver? not sure about TO) has black wooden letters. approx 8".
hallmark (of all places!) had the same style but smaller (approx 4").
I saw some wooden ones at the Home Company store in Richmond Hill. I'm looking for red or black large leather letters- Winners used to sell them. Has anyone seen them around?
There is a store on Queen Street East - I can't remember which one it was exactly - but it's between Carlaw and Leslie (I'm thinking it's just east of Pape) on the north side. They had a big collection of large letters. I don't know if they were wood, maybe metal.
