I have just bought an ottoman with a tufted top and I want to buy a tray to place on the top of it (like a lot of the decorating mags show). It doesn't necessarily need to be wood - maybe a fax leather or something. But I am having a tough time finding one - can anyone suggest a good place to look. Thanks

yes i would check sears before the sale is done...i like the throw under the tray as it adds some color to the room and its easy to change when you want to change colors around. :)

Thanks - I will be checking out Sears. I have looked in WalMart too but haven't seen a thing, but obviously from other member's posts they do exist. So I will just keep looking. I've also seen in a couple of the pictures that some of you have place a throw on your ottoman - that looks very nice too!!
as i said i too have been looking for a tray for my ottomon, which is also tufted, no luck until today. I walked into Sears and right in amongst all the displays that hold dishes was a display set up with other wooden pieces including this wooden tray, It was 24.99 but much to my surprise it rang up at 18.99, they were on sale :D It is a good size and by looking at Decorguys i would almost say pretty close to the same. Hope you have a Sears nearby, that is if you are looking for this style.

I bought mine in a craft store in wood and I paint it brown black.
I had bought a set of faux leather trays from Walmart......couldn't believe it when I saw them. This was a while back though.
HomeSense or the Bay, I bought a faux black leather one for $24.99. I just can't remember which store!
that is another thing i have been looking for as well for a few months now....love your decorguy....and we dont have these stores either and when i went to homesense last, they didnt have any nice ones. I think trynto bought the last one :D

I'm on Vancouver Island, so we don't have some of the same stores. I thought of maybe HomeSense or Linen N Things. Has anyone seen them there? Does Pottery Barn ship items?
Caban Has some different ones there. I have also seen them in little home decor shops all over the place lots of the ones on Queen west and King St east have them.
And this is very similar to ours off the Pottery Barn website
funny you say that....we just did this last weekend. I found that the leather looking ones are kindy "trendy for the moment" looking and prefer the wood ones. Wood ones come in 2 styles, flat ones that are almost fitted over the ottoman and the other style is a more traditional tray style which we bought. We found ours at a furniture store here in oakville but I have seen them pretty much anywhere where ottomans are sold.
