:D I'm so excited! We're just like the big city folk now! We're getting a Winners! I'll have to wait until spring of next year....but regardless....this is a big step for us! I can't say I've completely enjoyed shopping Winners in the past...but I can grin and bear it to not have to drive 1/2 hour somewhere to go shopping! We're getting a staples too....but I couldn't give a darn about that! :p

A new Winners/Homesense opened near where I live last week. I planned on going to the grand opening, but didn't feel like it on that morning. I have yet to walk out of a Winners with a purchase! I find the store a tad frustrating.
But I am willing to try again, just because it is now much closer and not a 1/2 hour drive away. I also want to go when I have a stash of dough, just in case I see tons of suff I like, being a Homesense too.
mmm, not doing anything today....maybe I'll check what all the buzz is about...
But first I am colouring my hair red. A home job, just for fun, lol.
my hubby wouldn't go near a casino....bet once on a horserace and that was it....I figure....forget the kiddy daycare in the malls.....they need hubby daycare! Plus that would give us somewhere to leave all those big bags of purchases! I'd be happy if all the malls had music stores (with instruments, not HMV etc) I'd be begging him to leave at the end of the day...:biglol: :biglol:
You need a casino near the mall. I needed some shopping time while we were travelling the other. Sent DH off for a couple of hours and he couldn't stop smiling. :cool: Usually I'm trying to rush while I shop and he's trying to be patient and nobody's really happy. They really need amusement centres for men in the malls.
I'm so excited! Maybe next year I can do allllll my shopping for ME and all the others without needing hubby to even go near the car! It'll be way easier this way....for example
Xmas past --
HIM "What do you mean you need to go XMas shopping?" "What are you going to buy?" "How long will it take?"
ME "Oh for goodness sakes... nevermind I'll walk to T.O. on my own!"
Xmas future -
HIM "oooh honey all the Xmas shopping is done?! you're the most wonderful wife ever!"
(of course by this point my feet and hands will be covered in blisters but it will be worth it to not have to deal with a whiney husband in a shopping mall)

do have a winners about 10 mins away...of course nothing in our town....i want a homesense! so handy for you 2blues :clapping: .....they just expanded the home section of ours.
