Help...this is going to be most difficult....I ripped the forest green carpet off the stairs and found beautiful Oak trends....now I am trying to remove the paint from the step only and then paint the risers and bannister cloud white...this is going to take awhile...oh and the striped red wall paper has been primed and ready for paint...there was no way in H E L * that I was trying to remove it........................I will keep you guys updated

It already looks better. it'll be a lot of work but it's going to look great. I hope you have a good stripper so you can save yourself some work anyway.
The striped wallpaper almost looks like bead board...interesting. Do you plan to stain the treads?
